| Before I became
so involved in the entertainment industry I was a fashion and beauty
photographer, and this year marked a return to that field for me. I shot
a swimsuit calendar featuring Playboy model Ivonne Armant, and had so
much fun doing it I decided to make that work the focus of my
"Commercial" page on the website.
I love the challenge of pulling together a production and making it all work, whether it's in the studio or on location. Commercial work is all about solving problems and crafting a clear message for the client, and the tools I use to do that are an arsenal of state-of-the-art equipment, my extensive technical background, and most importantly, a deep understanding of lighting. In photography, lighting is what
separates the men from the boys! There is something truly magical about
sculpting and revealing a subject with light and shadow. It's my
favorite thing about photography...that, and all the interesting people
it gives me a chance to meet.
