Moses Sparks specializes in people photography for clients in the entertainment,
magazine, music, events, and wedding industries.
A graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, Moses has also studied at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and is an active member of the American Society of Media Photographers. Moses currently holds the title of Staff Photographer for Universal Studios in Los Angeles, where he shoots publicity and media events, celebrities, top-ranking executives, and many behind-the-scenes players such as writers, directors, and producers. In addition to staff duties, he is also a freelance photographer for clients including: Harpers Bazaar, Entertainment Weekly, Detour, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Virgin Atlantic Airways, USC, Jafra Cosmetics, O.P.I. and the Los Angeles Lakers. In the fine art field, Moses received a $12,000 grant from Ilford Photo Corporation for “The Human Forest”, a series of original photographs that was exhibited as a one-man show in Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle. Moses has also served as Curator for exhibits mounted by LA-ART, a group co-op of young artists and galleries. This will be the 5th consecutive year Moses has covered the Revlon Run/Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer as the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s exclusive Los Angeles photographer. Moses lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and 2 children. |
